Hello YGOPro DevPro. Recently, there have been a lot of issues and commotion with the DevPro launcher and its new rules to DevPro. I want to address some questions that have been circulating around concerning DevPro. Listed below are the most asked questions.

Why is my anti-virus flagging YGOPro DevPro?

As you might know, DevPro has been flagged by a few anti-virus programs as being Trojan/Malware. If you recall back to when DevPro first started, a similar issue occurred and people were skeptic about DevPro as a result. I’m setting the record straight and letting you all know that there is nothing to worry about. DevPro is clean and the alerts are a false positive. As you know DevPro is open sourced, before any code is merged into DevPro it’s tested and checked to make sure it won’t cause any issues. I’ve sent a false positive report to all the anti-virus who flag YGOPro DevPro, I request your help with the issue as well. If your anti-virus is flagging DevPro, send a false positive report to your provider. That way it’s clear that this isn’t a one-person problem, and YGOPro DevPro can be added to your exception lists. Different anti-viruses have different ways to add to the exceptions lists so check your provider’s website.

My browser is saying that your websites are unsafe, what do I do?

As for the website (homepage) and (the site that contains the updates) that also have been flagged, you can ignore the warning and continue to the website just like with the launcher as the website is clean as well. The website doesn’t contain any ads or download links. Just the link to the update archive. As for the update archive, it contains all the updates that have been pushed since I’ve become the owner of YGOPro DevPro. Again, if you see the sites flagged, send a message to your browser’s provider and tell them it is a false alarm. Things are easier for everyone when we work together.

What is the current progress on adding Link to YGOPro DevPro?

Link summoning is still in testing and still has various bugs and problems to work out. I’m in contact with the Developmental team responsible for working on implementing Link summoning for YGOPro and they are working hard to get everything working properly. We at DevPro are going to focus on making the transition as seamless as possible. It won’t be simple, but we’re going to do our best to make sure the users experience little to no problems. Community feedback and bug reports will be very important during this time.
